We are currently looking for a Building Surveyor to join our Technical Team at Island Place. The 26-storey Island Place Tower features 515,000 sq ft (49,000 sqm) of Grade-A office space, and the three towers of Island Place contain 784 apartments. • Responsible for maintenance and repair of the building fabrics, plumbing and drainage, supervision of contractors and direct labour, tendering and contract administration
• Handle customers’ enquiries and complaints, design of alteration and addition work, renovation work and fitting out work
• Assist in budget preparation, recommend maintenance strategy, control and ensure all builders works are complied with the building regulations and perform in a supervisory role

• Degree in Building Surveying or graduate from related disciplines
• Qualified Professional Building Surveyor (MHKIS or MRICS)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of building fabrics
• Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organisation moving forward
• Ensures accountability. Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. Acts with a clear sense of ownership. Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results
• Adapts approach and demeanour in a timely manner to match the shifting demands of different situations
• Good communication skills; ability to work with people at all levels
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good PC skills on MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD
• Willingness to attend 24-hour emergency calls
