Manager, Residential Projects

We are seeking for the Manager, Residential Projects. The incumbent will oversees design, handover arrangements, owner inquiries, and defect rectification. He/ she will also need to collaborate with stakeholders, manage teams, control budgets, and attend meetings to ensure successful residential development operations.

• Handle requests, enquiries and complaints from Owners.
• Work with Projects Team to develop design solutions and specifications for new developments including research and analysis into design, specifications and best practices in comparable developments .
• Liaise with stakeholders to design and execute plans of takeovers and handovers of residential developments
• Liaise with stakeholders and Owners of residential units to record and rectify defects by engaging contractors directly if necessary.
• Provide regular updates on the status of rectification works.
• Manage a team of multi-disciplined staff and oversee their performance.
• Arrange and conduct training courses for staff.
• Assist in preparation of budget and control of budget relating to takeovers, handovers, and defects management of the residential developments.
• Attend meetings with Owners or Owners’ organization.
• Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organisation moving forward.
• Ensures accountability. Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. Acts with a clear sense of ownership. Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
• To communicate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation

• Degree in Building Surveying/Electrical/Mechanical /Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• HKIE, CIOB, HKIS or equivalents preferred.
• Completed training related to building inspection conducted by Hong Kong Building inspection Association/Hong Kong Professional Building Inspection Academy/The Hong Kong Institution of Building Inspectors/Centre for Building Inspection/Hong Kong Polytechnic University is an asset.
• 5-10 years experiences in construction and/or quality checks, and handovers of residential buildings.
• Concrete experience in dealing with Owners /Owners’ Committees/Owners’ Corporations of residential developments.
• Highly independent and willing to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills, people management skills, with customer service mindset, and ability to work with people from different backgrounds and at all levels.
