HSSE Supervisor

Responsible for overseeing health, safety, security, and environmental practices within the warehouse facility. Support in implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, training employees, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist to develop and implement HSSE policies, procedures, and practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training and awareness programs on HSSE topics, including proper equipment handling, emergency response, and workplace ergonomics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate safety-related information and promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Monitor the effectiveness of HSSE programs through regular audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HSSE concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety inspections.
• Statistics and reporting data related to occupational diseases and occupational accidents.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting warehouse HSSE, and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
• Assist to implementation and maintenance of ISO14001&ISO45001 environmental safety and health management system.
• Conduct emergency response drills.
• Contractor-related safety management and PPE inspection.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or above level in Occupational Safety and Health / Environmental, Safety Science or other related disciplines
• Work experience: 2 years above relevant post working experience in HSSE field. Warehouse s torage industry experience is preferred; Knowledge of national and local EHS laws, regulations and related policies;
• Good PC knowledge of : Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
• Language requirements: Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Work skills: Experience in Occupational safety and health-related laws and regulations, assisting in ISO safety and health-related certification work, planning and implementing operating environment monitoring in each warehouse, and formulating safety and health management regulations and work codes.
• Other requirements: Exemplary ethics and a strong sense of accountability; Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities; Proactive, organized, and capable of handling demanding situations.
• Experience in ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO45001(Occupational Health and Safety Management System) is an advantage.
